Please note that the private parking is located at the end of Arkadiou Street, by the sea, across from the port authorities. Also note that from May 1 to October 31 Arkadiou and Eleftheriou Venizelou streets are not car accessible.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Mr Giannis was wonderful! It was great staying at Afroditi. It is centrally located and everything could be reached by walking. The apartment has all the things we needed, clean and fully equipped. The bed was very comfortable. It was really nice meeting you Mr. Gianni we will definitely come back!

The owner was incredible. He was so helpful throughout my stay and I felt like I was home. The house was super clean, in the middle of historic town close to everywhere. There were alread fruit, tea and water waiting for me in the room.

Afroditi is one of the best hotels we have stayed in! The apartment was very spacious, clean and in the heart of the old town. We found water, fruits (including a pineapple) and wine in the refrigerator and slippers in the bathroom. The owner Yannis gave us a map with recommendations for cafés and restaurants in the area and let us keep our luggage at reception after the check out, so that we can have a few hours more to walk around the town. There is a parking 5 minutes from the hotel, which is free for hotel guests. Would definitely visit again!

Very well located with everything you need. Yannis was the best host/hotel manager I have ever experienced. From towels and umbrellas for the beach, a bottle of wine for the balcony and always willing to assist. Was a truly lovely experience. The worst part was leaving.

Great place to spend the night. Very tidy, confortable bed, good location and above all an extremely sense of welcome, availability and kindness from the owner. Will definitely come back!

Fantastic location and wonderful host! A very comfortable room with great facilities. The proprietor made us feel very welcome and gave us some great tips of where to eat whilst visiting the town. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable, in a central location but without any noise. The owner is the definition of cretan hospitality and he was really helpful with everything.

The apartment was super clean, situated in city center yet we found it silent, provided with everything one can need for a perfect stay. The owner, Yannis, is the perfect host, always available to help, even preparing surprises for kids and giving small souvenirs upon departure, what can I say it is home away from home ❤️. If we will every come back to Rethymno we will definitely book this hotel!

First of all, Yannis, a super host. He went beyond himself to make our stay comfortable. He organised a taxi for us from the AirPort and met us when we arrived fairly late, because the taxi were not allowed to drive all the way to the hotel. And when we, on leaving, insisted on walking to the bus station, he had us brought there in his own car. In the apartment we were met by wine and fruit and water and slippers. The apartment has everything you need, well equipped, with a washing/drying machine as an extra bonus. Cleaned every Day, but not to early (as we asked). We loved the position of the apartment, in front of a church and a small square. Rethymno is a really nice town. We hope to come back. To Yannis, you’re a pearl.
