Breakfast was delicious, as was supper the night before. Marc and his family were very welcoming. There are three family bedrooms and the other Spanish guests were friendly. There were log fires in the evening and the room was warm. The buildings and decor are charmingly rustic inside. The large terrace and spectacular views felt like a real find. There's no distant motorway noise, no neighbours. It's a real escape. On Marc's advice, we took a beautiful circular walk in the mountains the next morning and discovered the cave, fountains and a barraca along the way.

We stopped for one night, on our way to Cardona, and we could not have found a better place. We loved everything: the old farm house, full of character, the location (quiet, elevated position on the western side of Sant Llorenc, de Munt and Obac natural park), the room and decor, the facilities; they serve a great breakfast and we were nicely surprised with an impressive evening meal cooked by Marc, who is a professional chef. He kindly gave us info about the surroundings and after breakfast, we went for a short walk in the forest that set us up perfectly for the day ahead. The family (including Marc's mother, who helped in the evening service) was very welcoming. They have two beautiful dogs. With more time, and especially in summer, I could spend hours in their magnificent open courtyard, with uninterrupted views all the way to Montserrat. A unique place.
