Situated just outside historical Redruth, Tricky’s Hotel features 5 acres of grounds, and a traditional restaurant. The rugged coast at Portreath is a 5-minute drive away.

The lodge is in a quiet location and is in a separate building to the bar/restaurant. Please note that the rate is for 2 adults. The location is peaceful and the staff are so friendly yet very efficient. We have stayed here a few times pre-pandemic and always loved it, but it has been updated and is now even better. The breakfast room was light and airy and the tables well spread out so still being nervous about Covid we felt really safe. Excellent breakfast and incredible service. Our room was roomy, clean and well decorated overlooking the extensive lawned garden.

Simple rooms with everything you need. Breakfast was fantastic. Great staff. Ideal location for what we were there for. Beautiful decking area.

large warm bed, easy to access, wonderful selection of mushrooms in the grounds for me to enjoy (not edible!). Reception desk very friendly.
