Lovely restored historic property with an interesting back story. Jackie and John were great hosts who gave us good tips for eating and drinking in Redcar on a Sunday night. Really lovely breakfast and a great allround stay at a very reasonable price.

Good to return to Red Barns which was once part of my old school. John and Jackie are excellent hosts and have a deep respect for the history of the building and earlier occupants. It has been restored and converted in a sympathetic style and provided very comfortable accommodation, together with a cooked-to-order breakfast. It is well sited for exploration of the North Yorkshire coast and moors.

The location, close to everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and cooked a good breakfast Rooms were spacious and the bed very comfortable
