Beautiful building and grounds Easy access to A33 into Reading and the M4 Friendly owners …excellent communication before arrival. ‘Traditional family run’ hotel …not a corporate hotel.

It was very cosy and the staff was very accommodating. The room had a beautiful view of the garden and the place overall was spotless.

This is a quiet rural hotel which we could see would be perfect for a wedding. It was our Anniversary and we were given a room upgrade on arrival. We don’t mind busy hotels but this one had very few residents and we enjoyed the relaxed calmness this generated. Dinner and breakfast were lovely.
