Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in and out process. Restaurant food (dinner and breakfast) was very good and service quick and attentive. Comfortable bed. Lovely big towels and plenty of hot water for showers. A small maintenance issue in our room was dealt with quickly.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious we sleep slept very well. The bar and dining area are both welcoming and homely and the large open fireplace is my favourite.

Room was ok for our needs, nothing really to complain about. Good stop if needing to be close to London for business etc. Did request an upstairs room during booking but this was either not available or guests were given on first come first serve basis but either way it was not mentioned. Free parking was great
