What an amazing hidden gem! The unit was spacious, extremely clean, had a very comfy bed and the setting was private. It was very well-appointed with everything and more we needed for our week-long stay. This included complimentary milk, juice, filtered water, and fruit. The pool was fantastic and the outdoors was private with beautiful plantings and a true tropical feel. The bananas by the pool were a lovely treat! On arrival we were warmly greeted by Angela with eis to make us feel welcomed. Such fabulous and friendly hosts! The friendly dogs and cats who popped by were also wonderful company. Would 100% recommend this accommodation and have already suggested to family and friends!

Thanks guys for having us! We loved the space, pool, nice big bed. Angela and William are welcoming and humble hosts, free water (trust me, you’re either buying lots of it or looking for where to fill up from) and wifi! Offered pick up but we had already arrived with our own transportation.

Our 2nd visit to Tropical Retreat was like coming home. A wonderful family owns this ample 1 B/R house, and you have never met such welcoming, accommodating people. The outside area has a seating area under cover, as well as a great pool and even a BBQ area with picnic table. We were picked up and dropped off by Angela, but there is also parking on site if you have a rental car. Close to restaurants and the beach. There is a local shop, take away and electric bike place. We also went to the mini golf course nearby. We loved our stay and would love to come back if we are in Rarotonga again. Highly Recommended!

Exceptional customer service. Nice and clean accomodation. The bed was so comfortable. Beautiful garden view. Your own private pool. Most days, we sat outside on the deck, taking in the view. A bonus is having friendly dogs to keep you company. I highly recommend this place.

The place surely lives up to it's name 'Tropical Retreat' with beautiful fruit trees around the pool. Which you can come back and relax in the pool after a long hot day in town, or at the markets. Fantastic owners who also surprise you with fresh fruit in the bowl on the table on the deck when you return from town. How good is that 🍌🥭

Our stay at this Airbnb was fantastic! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, offering free airport pick-up and drop-off service, which made our trip much more convenient. They shared a wealth of local culture and insights, making our experience truly enriching. Plus, the free tropical fruits and juice were a delightful treat. Highly recommend staying here!

This property was perfect for our needs with a kitchen and washing machine. The host was very helpful and the location was great. We were greeted with beautiful flower leis and transport was provided to the property. We picked up a rental car the following day which was a short walk down the road. We were also given a late checkout which was very convenient for us. We had the most amazing holiday.
