“Perfection in Johannesburg”

The owners, Shalom and Grant were simply wonderful from the moment we arrived to when we left and they kindly let us checkout so late. They were so helpful and kind throughout our stay whether it was with free glasses of wine on arrival or fresh croissants for breakfast. Their house was just beautiful in EVERY way and a complete joy to stay in.

Darrenwood Guesthouse is a special place run by special people. Shalom was one of the nicest and most helpful owners we have ever come across and the guesthouse he runs with Grant is simply exceptional in every way from the tasteful decor to the glorious garden. My wife especially liked the wonderful curtains.

Lovely quiet and safe area. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Kettle and coffee/tea facilities, also rusks. Grant was a super host and even spoiled us with tartlets from a nearby bakery

Very secure (gated premises within a boomed/gated suburb). Good parking space on premises. Room well set up with enough beds and a very clean place. Easy and quick access to the mall.
