Hotel Overview

Comprised of three Georgian town houses dating back to 1799, this charming, individual hotel in Ramsgate's historic garden crescent has amazing harbour and sea views. Two of the houses are adjoining.
All the rooms come with tea and coffee making facilities and some also have a coffee machine.
A 10 minute taxi ride from Kent International Airport, the hotel offers welcoming, real open fires in the lounge and reception area.
The hotel is ideally located within easy reach of the train station, the sea front, the yacht marina, Ramsgate ferry terminal, Dover ferry terminals and many other sites.

Being a period property the Royal Harbour Hotel does not have a lift, however the hotel is happy to assist with luggage wherever possible.

All electrics worked well, plus easy onto WiFi & TV. Bathroom clean & water flowed away without pooling in shower, so good. Room clean. Basic tea/coffee kettle facility ok. Although the traditional metal bed frame supported in middle underneath looked fragile, the mattress & bedding were clean & comfortable. I liked the style of many classic pictures & books, but may not be to everyone’s taste. The 3/4 separate sitting rooms downstairs with music & TV & many books & pictures with self serve tea & coffee 24/7 facility, nice for solo travellers or mature couples. Not really a place for children under 8 yrs.

Bit disappointed. This was more like an air b&b. Communication was good and early check in was allowed. Beautiful room and views.

A lovely little room overlooking the harbour. The bed was extremely comfortable. A newly renovated bathroom. All facilities were very clean and when I asked for an iron it arrived at the door within minutes.

The bed was very comfortable and towels large and fluffy. Although the room was small the space was laid out well. Room was clean and tea making facilities great. The chap that showed me to my room was very pleasant.

Lovely hotel, very unique and antique home feel. Better than a Travelodge any day! Bed was lovely and comfortable, room and bathroom were decent sized for the 2 of us and the communal areas of the hotel were beautiful - especially the garden!

Basically, I booked the cheapest thing I could find as I was just there to keep an eye on my teens, who were staying round the corner. & it was half the price of the next nearest (travelodge). So I was expecting it to be a bit shabby and depressing, to be honest. But it wasn't that at all. It was really charming, very small, yes, but full of thoughtful touches and a cute interior.
