We had a really warm welcome from Josip and the room was beautifully prepared with everything we needed (fridge/fan/toiletries) The situation was amazing - just off the main road but quiet and peaceful with deer in countryside nearby. We had a fantastic meal at the restaurant next door and then relaxed on the terrace. Josip gave us some great advice for our trip to Plitvice NP the next day.

The host was super nice, the location is gorgeous and the room was perfect; spacious, clean, lovely atmosphere. The bed was really comfortable and the airconditioning made for a pleasant temperature, despite the 36 degrees heat.

This property is not to be missed when you are planning your visit to Plitvice National Park. It is next to a deer park where there are super cute deer that you can feed fruit from the trees at the property. It is picture perfect! Josip and his family are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a warm welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and a really good size. The hosts have thought of everything and we will definitely be back when we visit the area again. The restaurant in the deer park nearby is good but make sure you ring in advance if you want to order a vegetarian option, you are in the mountains after all! It was a fantastic stay and one of our favourites in Croatia given how authentic the experience was. The recommendations that Josip gave us were great, in addition to the Plitvice lakes, we went to the abandoned military base and also Slunj and Rastoke and had a great time! thank you!
