It's a beautiful location and the room was big and comfortable. I only stayed one night which was a bit of a shame.

Firstly, the landlady and staff could not be more helpful and welcoming. We were made to feel at home the moment we checked in. Our evening meal and breakfast were top notch. The property is full of interesting art and novelties. It was clean and inviting and we would have no hesitation in returning to this lovely pub. You can identify when someone has gone above and beyond to make their property warm and inviting with an individual twist.

We have stayed here before because of good location relative to attractions in the area and also because of the food. The pub has excellent evening meals, and is popular - so make sure you book a table. Breakfast absolutely excellent and will keep you going for the rest of the day!
