This is such a unique hotel! It’s a 1950s building with every room decorated in unique style. Our stay was over Christmas and we ended up being in the hotel on our own, but the staff were always around for us with a smile and real care, particularly Michelle and Maria. The room was beautifully cleaned every day. The breakfast was simple but wholesome and the restaurant in the basement provides local dishes with a modern twist. Before we left the owner Rodrigo explained the spirituality of Andean culture in a small ceremony to wish us well. The location is easily walkable to the old town and if you can tackle the steps up the hill nearby Itchimbia park is a lovely place with superb views.

The bed is very comfortable and the shower is hot with good pressure. I did not experience any loss of power during my stay, so I’m assuming they have a generator. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the historical centre. The lady at check in was lovely, helpful and spoke good English. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant (as the area is not safe in the evening), the food was excellent and I’d highly recommend it (all traditional Ecuadorian dishes). WiFi was ok.

A small boutique hotel, on a quiet and relatively safe street, right in the center of Quito. It is a short walk from the historic and most touristic streets. The room is spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed. It doesn't have air conditioning but it wasn't necessary. There is a terrace from which you can glimpse the city and mountains, a landscaped mezzanine where you can have tea or coffee. There is no elevator as it is a modernization of an old building. Breakfast is not a buffet, the items are limited but of very good quality, especially the natural juices. The small restaurant is a must at the hotel, it serves dinners at acceptable prices, with a variety of gourmet food and a selection of traditional drinks, all Andean-inspired, certainly unmissable. Highlighting the friendliness of the staff, especially the reception. The added value of the hotel lies in the cost-quality ratio.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were quite responsive. The facility was very clean and well maintained. The staff also helped us arrange a wonderful day trip to Mindo. Excellent breakfast every day. Having access to drinking water in the reception area saved us trips to the store.

Very beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff (thank you Awki). Nice spacious rooms, excellent beds, good WIFI. Good breakfast, very nice dinner - we loved the ceviche. Possibility to eat local food. Each time we had to be in Quito we went back to this hotel.

The people working in the hotel were so nice in any possibility situation. I highly recommend opting for this hotel. We directly booked it again for another stay in Quito. The restaurant in the hotel is also an absolute recommendation. The room was nice and clean, nothing to complain. The breakfast was also awesome!
