This is a nice guesthouse near Xela’s central park. The main floor is mostly common space, including a large kitchen, a living room and central courtyard. These common areas are really the only place to sit comfortably and relax. I stayed in one of the deluxe, loft-style rooms on the second floor because the photos showed that it included it’s own table and chairs as well as a small fridge. Unfortunately these items are gone and have been replaced by an extra bed that takes up too much space and serves no purpose. I stayed in room #7 which at least has a small, private seating area outside the room and is the only quiet and private place to sit. Everything else about this guesthouse is as nice as you could ever ask for. The staff are kind and helpful; the entire place is kept very clean; and breakfast is good with many options. Even though my room was a disappointment I would still recommend Casa Elisabeth for you stay in Xela.

Right in the centre. Nice breakfast and very nice staff. Very easy to find. Rather big room with a great bathroom.

Very friendly and kind staff, ideal location in Xela, decent kitchen and a nice breakfast too. The building has lots of character and interesting bits of design, and a homely vibe to it. Laundry service was excellent too. A good option in Xela, but does have some areas of improvement. Good security on the front door + entrance gate.
