Simple but was nice and clean and a lot cheaper than a lot of places on a Saturday night in Manhattan so was worth saving the extra money for us anyway just for the night. Rooms were a great size.

Overall good for staying in New York having no problems to walk 10 min to the metrostation. Bed comfortable. Quite clean.

Location is ideal - flew into JFK and flew out of La Guardia, so this hotel placed me perfectly for that. Additionally, you're a 10 minute walk from the train/subway taking you straight into Manhatten. You have all you need - shower, bath (needed with all the steps you'll do), comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, aircon/heating unit, WiFi, TV etc. In terms of cleanliness, you get what you pay for - the place is clearly cleaned before your stay but it's a little run down. Not an issue though.

The hotel is a short walk from a well-connected subway station. It was very easy to get from La Guardia airport to the hotel, and from the hotel into Manhattan. The local neighbourhood is friendly and feels very safe. The hotel was clean and the room had all advertised amenities. I couldn't understand what some of the negative reviews on Booking.com were talking about. I look forward to staying here again.

I really love this hotel and I would definitely book it again the next time I come to New York, the location is only 10 mins walk away from 61 Woodside Station getting the 7 line to change for trains to Manhattan and Brooklyn, the TV was great me coming from the UK I got to watch live English soccer games on the sport Channel, the double bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, hot water was very consistent, cleaning staff were very consistent changing the towels. $100 deposit but 100% refunded on check out
