Jennifer at check in was wonderful. Helpful, friendly, and went above. The place was clean, well located, and had all needed for a one night stay. Cool vault (from the old bank I am guessing) in the basement as a chill room.

Friendly helpful staff, location was close to a drug store , food market and subway station. Was clean and as comfortable as hostels can be. Got lucky with a mix of young and older in my room so all respectful and considerate.

I had seen bad reviews about the front desk beforehand, but their service was actually very good!!! On the second day I had a roommate with strong body odor and they quickly changed my room.Thank you.

Honestly the location of this hostel couldn't be any better, 2 minute walk from the subway and within 15 minutes you're in Times Square. The room was nice and spacious which was a welcome change compared to many hostels I've stayed at previously. A large window which had a privacy film on it provided natural light during the day and an opportunity to watch the subway trains in the evening. There is a 24\7 small store and deli next door which sells hot food and groceries but is more on the pricey side, not sure if that's just NYC. A decently quiet area at night which I had no issues with as a solo female :)

The room was relatively cheap compared to other hotels and relatively clean. It is located in Queens Plaza and well connected to Manhattan with several buses and subway (e.g., 15 min. to upper east side).

High ceilings means that it feels bigger and the room wasn't overcrowded with beds. A large communal kitchen with plenty of appliances, dishes & cutlery to use. Excellent connections to Manhattan and JFK via two subway stations nearby. Queens Plaza station has elevators and goes to Jamaica station for the JFk Airtain.

It was okay; the staff was always welcoming and warm. The hotel was just a short walk away from Queens Plaza Station and Queensboro Plaza, so you had a few options to get into Manhattan. There is a large dining room with a fridge, oven, tables, and sofas to eat at, which was a good thing for us.
