(1) The Quebec train station is just 150 meters away, making it very convenient. (2) The breakfast here is MUCH BETTER than at nearby popular brunch restaurants! The warm-hearted and hard-working owner personally cooks and serves the meals. Although he serves the same menu every day, my family waited for this time while staying there for 4 days. Mr. Gerald offers delicious food like crepes, croissants, yogurt, coffee or tea, hot chocolate for kids, handmade strawberry jam, maple syrup, apple juice, and fresh FRUITS! It’s a place my family would love to return to just for BREAKFAST. (3) It is easy to access both upper Quebec and lower Quebec. (4) The bathroom and the shower were modern. Although it's 103 years old HISTORIC building. (5) We enjoyed Netflix and Youtube on TV.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is walking distance to the train station, cruise terminal and old town. There is a supermarket down the street. The breakfast is very good. The beds were comfortable. The owner is quirky, but helpful.

The location and very clean rooms and plenty of fluffy towels etc The owner Gerard was very helpful and friendly but sometimes his jokes became tiresome

Location was great. It's a short walk to the old city but it is all uphill. Rooms were clean. Price is good and includes a nice breakfast.

The location was good. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was tasty but some variety would have been nice. Gerald's breakfast routine could be quite entertaining but probably not to everyone's taste. The availability of channels on the TV was great just what was needed after spending the day walking up and down Quebec old town.

I traveled to Quebec with my family! All of us LOVE it. Family had an amazing experience. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the kids feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is PERFECT-close to the all attractions in old Quebec. One of the highest of our stay was breakfast, which was mostly homemade. Every morning we were treated to delicious and freshly prepared dishes and fresh apple juice that added a lovely personal touch to our stay. I highly recommend this small and cozy hotel to everyone who is looking for a well-located place with a very reasonable price.

The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent. The host, Gerald, was informative, funny, and attentive. By giving us a map and describing the highlights, he made our exploratory trip that much easier and enjoyable. We especially appreciated being only a block from the train station. Will definitely stay there again.
