Amazing hotel! Very good food and apartament to stay during this vacation. The people were really helpful and friendly. Love the staff in bar and animators. The restaurants are delicious! The best are Steak House and Asian restaurant . Apartment was clean and with nice view from balcony.

The food was an issue for us because we dont eat pork and the other options were very limited/ also the service can be better from all the staff but overall was a great stay!

Sea was good. The pool area seems a bit old. Food was not great but Ok. Overall it was a Ok experience.

Everything, I never expect a place to be perfect, and Catalonia when they made any little mistake, they made a good effort to sort it out as fast as I can. The restaurants, the service and the amenities are very very good

The property was clean, airy and welcoming right from the off. When they say all inclusive, they mean all inclusive (unlike some). No hidden charges, no deposits on cots or anything of the sort. The beach and pool area were scrupulously clean, the staff were all very friendly and we got served quickly. The selection at the buffet was very good, although having more ‘local’ food options would have been appreciated. The food we had was delicious and plentiful and the staff always made sure you were never without a drink. They also have a donation scheme, so I was able to donate my travel cot and some additional items to the local community, which I appreciated.

We came to Catalonia very last minute due to problems with our original accommodation. And it exceeded our expectations. We’ve been to DR many times and stayed in the top end more expensive resorts and honestly, this place is excellent value in comparison. It’s an absolutely stunning resort with its hundreds of huge coconut palms, lush planting, and all the waterways with turtles and wild birds. Lots of beautiful areas to chill out amongst the gorgeous gardens. Lovely classic Caribbean palm leaf lobby and undercover areas. Great vibe and atmosphere. Proper holiday feeling. Entertainment is good. The buffets have a good selection, I’m coeliac and pescatarian and ate really well. We loved all the animals. The staff are friendly and our room was always clean. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Cool beach bar and the main pool is fantastic.
