Uros Titicaca Lodge is a must if you are wanting to do a homestay, experience Lake Titicaca, and just slow down. It is located away from the other touristy accommodations on Uros Island (about 20 minutes from the port by boat) so it is very serene and tranquil. You'll see the occasional boat go by, but the only people around are the other guests. I loved having my own deck to just relax, read, and take in the surrounding beauty. Ivan was a wonderful host. He offers a couple of boat tour options where you can experience how local families are living and sustaining themselves on the lake. A hearty breakfast is included, with lunch and dinner available at an extra cost. The food was delicious. I wish had booked an additional night!

Ivan and his families are super cute and nice, we felt really comfortable to stay at the lodge although I only speak limited Spanish! Also, dinner and breakfast are delicious.

The owner Cesar and his family are very welcoming, we experienced great hospitality. And the food in the lodge is tasty. We also went for the tour which is a great experience.
