Fantastic breakfast, lunch and dinners provided as part of the room cost. Really flexible when we arrived late in the evening. Comfortable beds, plenty of blankets for the cold nights. Really friendly owners who provided a boat tour of their community as part of our stay. Met other lovely guests as well.

Perfect place to spend a night with a traditional community on Lake Titicaca — our bed was huge and comfy, dinner and breakfast were excellent, and views of the lake were stunning. Cesar was responsive and spoke excellent English, taking us on our own tour of the Uros islands to see how people live. There are lower cost options on the islands, however for bed, full board and your own tour it’s worth the price!

The hosts César and Lucy make this place and the stay magical. Everything is made with so much care. The food is delicious, bed is comfortable, surroundings and landscape are gorgeous. You live on a floating island with basic infrastructure, yet everything works well and its comfortable.

Caesar and his wife Lucy were absolutely incredible. They were so attentive throughout our stay, from start to finish. Easy pick up at 5.30 am where Caesar organised a taxi to pick us up and drop us off at the boat collection point where he was waiting for us. The room was absolutely beautiful with incredible views. The beds were comfortable. The balcony with bed overlooking the lake was so peaceful. At night we were provided with hot water bottles to keep us warm and also an in room heater which was amazing. The food was spectacular. Breakfast, lunch and dinner could not be faulted. Nothing was too much to ask. The experience of visiting local families and learning about culture was very interesting and a great few hours. We also were invited to go fishing the morning before we left with Lucy and this was incredible. Caesars English is really good and he is so helpful. Honestly, best stay we have ever had. Nothing was too much and the hosts were so accommodating. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing views and everything was taken care of! Food was lovely, had a tour of the community and they provided extra blankets and hot water bottles.

The Uros Samaraña Uta Lodge lies the middle of the Titicaca Lake. From the moment Cesar picket us up the stay was one of the best we’ve ever had. The view on the lake is stunning and amazing. Especially in the evening when you can watch the sunset from your cabin (the view goes to the west, so you will see the sunset over the mountains). Furthermore the cabin is really comfy. You have two beds outside and two inside. Since the nights can get cold, each cabin has a heater, also Cesar brought us some hot water bottles to put under the blankets. During your stay you can expect great (and plenty of) food for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The food is always freshly prepared and leaves no desires unfulfilled. The best part however is Cesar and his family. Cesar took us on a boat trip around his community, showed us how the people in Uros live and how the floating islands are build. To be able to get such an intimate look into this small community was an amazing experience!

We loved it all, the people the place it was a wonderful experience. The room was warm and comfortable, very relaxing. Ceaser and Lucy have really worked hard making it such a lovely place with their lovely family, they look after their guests very well, from the very clean, bright, comfortable cosy rooms to the fresh cooking made by Lucy and local tours of their neighbourhood explaining so much of their way of life, which is very interesting. It's another world and very different, but we loved it and watcing the stunning beautiful sunsets every night from our cabin, Very relaxing! Thanks for having us both Ceaser & Lucy!
