We spent two nights in Titicaca Sariri Lodge from Isaac in January. We are really thankful for the warm welcome from him und his family. They shared a lot about their culture and way of living. We are really fascinated by it. Fishing with Isaac during our stay was a nice adventure as well. The room was warm enough, so we didn’t need any heating. During the night they provided us some warm water bottles to heat the bed and be comfortable. Hot water to shower was never missing. The toilet is different from what we know in Europe, but nothing to feel uncomfortable with. We would recommend to everyone to spend one or two nights in this beautiful lodge.

Beautiful views. I highly recommend staying here, Isaac and his family are lovely and took care of us. It is impressive what they have been able to create in the middle of the floating village. There was hot water and we were toasty at night as isacc brought us hot water bottles (we didn’t need the heater). Isacc took us on a tour around the islands with his traditional boat and taught us quite a lot about the history and way of life. Do bring a book and there isn’t any wifi although we had cell network. It was a nice way to disconnect and enjoy the views.

Isaac, the host, and his family were very welcoming. They have built the accommodation themselves and you could feel their love for the island in every small detail. Isaac showed us around the islands and explained a lot of customs and their lifestyle to us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend you to do it as well. The experience is extraordinary and way better than doing the tourists boat tours!

This was one of the most unique experiences of my life - you re literally on a floating island! Isaac and Gladys have created an amazing place, designed to make you feel welcome and cosy. Isaac also took us on an island boat tour and Gladys prepared the most delicious food. You dont stay at the Uros islands expecting a conventional 5 star hotel experience, you go there to experience something you will never forget! Gracias para todos!

It was truly unforgettable experience! We didn’t want to leave! The room was so spacious and very cozy, we also liked the terrace where you can enjoy the sun and tranquility of Titicaca lake. Isaac and family are so friendly, Isaac took us fishing and showed around the islands. They also prepared breakfast and dinner for us, and everything was delicious! Couldn’t imagine a better stay on the Titicaca lake!

Amazing host, Isaac and his family, tremendous work they made to build the comfort for the guests! Everything here is at superlative, the experience itself is a one in a lifetime, living with the Uros on a floating island. The simplicity, the modesty, the decency of the host impressed us and touched us.

This was an amazing experience. Thanks to the early check-in we could spend some time on the island during the day. The host, Isaac, picked us up from the port and gave a tour around the community of Uros Islands. Our lodge was huge, with a very comfy bed and many soft blankets to keep us warm during the cold lake night. Isaac explained to us how the life on the islands was in then past, how the islands are made and maintained and how it changes during the recent times. He also took as fishing with him. For lunch he gave us a ride to the island restaurant. We could also appreciate the beautiful sunset and sunrise. In summary, we thought we are just booking an accommodation for the night but we got a very cozy and private experience of the Uros Islands, without the tourist groups.

Isac and his wife were so welcoming - we had delicious food and it was fun to go out on the lake with Isac for fishing and to see the rest of the islands. The lodge was spotless and had an amazing view. I had plenty of hot water for a shower. There is no wifi and limited signal but it was perfect to switch off overnight

Very peaceful. Warm comfy bed. Nice views. Welcoming hosts who provided information and tour of island. Hot water bottles and heater were welcome as it was cold. Isaac picked us up from port and dropped us back and organised a taxi to bus station.

Isaac and his Family were very kind. They took care of every detail to make sure that we felt comfortable. In the early morning Isaac invited us to go fishing with him. Later, his wife took us on a boat tour through the community and both were very open and provided deep insights into the Uros culture.
