Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.Please note that there is no elevator available at the hotel, only stairs to access to the rooms, we have staff members ready to carry your luggage for you.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night while passing through Puno on the way to Bolivia. Picked this place due to its location to the main plaza. We also like how there were a variety of restaurants and eateries (with affordable menu del dias) in close proximity. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hot shower was much appreciated in Puno's cold weather. The lady at the reception was also very friendly, and we could also contact the hotel staff via WhatsApp if we needed anything. The breakfast is on the 6th floor and one can get a peek of Lake Titicaca from there. :)

Everything from the staff, to breakfast and the cleanliness of the room was great. The receptionist were always helpful with information regarding Puno. The breakfast at the top floor with stunning views was very good with fruit, vegetables, juices, cereals and very good eggs made by the chef. They also had complimentary teas on offer in the reception area. It was a close walking distance to the main square.

Very clean and comfortable and heater in the room. Welcoming seating areas on first couple of floors with free hot drinks available. Good breakfast which included fruit and yogurt along with the usual eggs and bread. No problem storing luggage when visiting the islands overnight.

Excellent hostal thats great value for money and in a great location in Puno. Breakfast was great. Facilities were very nice and clean.

Fantastic place. Great location next to lima st. Double glazed windows to stop noise. Top floor breakfast with views. Staff were great and helped when my wife was sick.
