The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that all guests are subject to a Marine Park Conservation fee upon arrival.
Boat transfers from Kuala Besut Jetty to Perhentian Island run from 08:00 to 16:00 daily.
Boat transfers from Perhentian Island to Kuala Besut Jetty schedule: 08:00, 12:00 and 16:00.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

We had a room on the upper floor, right next to the terrace. The view of the water and the small island opposite is heavenly. The room offers everything you need, is very clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in every situation.

Location is nice, u can just snorkell just near the beach there’s lot of fish. The staff there did not smile a lot except for the owner. Mind u there’s no shampoo and shower gel provided, only a very small soap. Because in any small chalet i’ve visited they provided u. Or else u have to buy at the mini mart which is very expensive. There’s also not electric kettle in the room, so u have to fill it up outside at the reception area. Wifi is poor! And they cut it down during night time which makes thing worst. Also they did not include breakfast, and the cafes only serve burgers fries toast. If u want something else, u have to but outside from the chalet. The laundry there costs rm10/kgs.

A super-clean place! Everything in the room was sensibly located - good bedside tables and lights, power outlets plentiful, and in the right places. Despite our stay coinciding with a major national holiday, the staff were attentive and helpful. Our departure was really well handled, despite inclement weather at the time (we’d had wonderful weather until our departure!). Highly recommended 😊😊

Staff were friendly and welcoming and willing to help guide on any questions. They also kindly provide snorkelling equipment free of charge. Location is great with various beaches a very short distance or a little further.

Clean rooms. Hot water shower. Hot water for tea or coffee available downstairs. Lovely helpful staff. We were offered banana bread on check in which was delicious. Great location. We were provided with towels for the beach. Room comes with hairdryer

I loved this place! Great staff, great location & spotlessly clean. The food next door was gorgeous, & for a budget traveller, has yet to be matched anywhere in Asia - Anni, Sulemaine & Fatiha, you were outstanding!!

Located just opposite the village of Perhentian Kecil Island and able to share facilities with Tuna Bay Island Resort such as restaurant and beaches for snorkelling. Besides, it also possesses a small grocery store.
