Very friendly staff, very helpfull. The room was nice but it could be a little bit updated. Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the center of Pula.

You get what you pay for. I was expecting old furniture, an OK breakfast, a 20 minute walk to the city, and minimal luxury, and this is what I got. The room was bigger than expected and clean. Two of the receptionists were friendly.

Hotel Veli Joze is located just 10-15 minutes walking from the city centre in Pula. Relation quality-price is ok. The building is interesting, room with high ceilings and very spacious. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel location worked well for us as we didn't want to be in the centre of Pula. It took us 15 minutes to walk into the town and we also had some nice morning runs along side the waters edge. Veli Jože has a lot of Navel history to explore.

Breakfast is tasty and plentiful. The location of the facility is very good, everywhere on foot, but you can also take the bus.

breakfast was good, not too muh stuff to choose, but was ok for us. nice place 20min to beach 20min to centre so it was in the middle...caffee or restaurants close. AC works well, saved our comfort...we had it on all the time we were there and during night.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and had a lot of storage space. The bed was comfortable. We arrived early and they allowed us to check in early which was very kind. Easy walk to the old town (fifteen minutes) and also well served by buses. This is a perfectly pleasant two star hotel that has seen better days.
