Everything was great! The vibe was super nice, and it was really cool to have my own little hut with a hammock! I stayed in four hotels in Puerto Viejo, and this one definitely had my preference! Really good money value!!

Perfect location. Definitely not a party hostel, more for quiet type travellers. Best value for money. You get your own room with barthroom and own porch for the best price in town. Rolando and team were courteous and helpful. Glenda even cooked me dinner once! Lovely greenery and cute layout.

La casa de Rolando is a quiet place. The host is very nice. The histel is very closed to the center of Puerto Viejo, the buses terminal and beaches.

great location, friendly dog/cat, room had small kitchen, fridge, sink etc, very useful. nice terrace to sit outside your room and unwind. short walk to the main beach.

Really neat, nicely run. The grounds are super nice, there's plenty to do in the town and the surroundings. Hammocks on every balcony are a big W.

Very good price 7 min walk to main bus stop. Hotel is beautifully situated in its own tropical garden. All rooms seem to have their own patio and the kitchen works well.

Casa Rolando was a charming and tranquil retreat amidst the bustling tourist beaches of Puerto Viejo. It felt like sleeping in a jungle. The well-equipped kitchen was a significant advantage, allowing us to cook our own meals and avoid dining out all the time.
