lovely oasis in beautiful garden setting near to some lovely beaches. The accommodation was spacious and well equipped. we loved the terrace - sitting watching and listening to the wildlife was amazing.

Privacy of the bungalow is a plus. The staff and owners are very welcoming. The restaurant serves exquisite Italian food.

It is set in the most lush jungle gardens with 3 other bungalows. Small pool available for cooling off. Delicious breakfast dropped to your verandah in the morning so you can enjoy your breakfast while watching Agoutis, hummingbirds and parrots. There is a walkway to the beach which takes less than 10 minutes (it took us longer as we saw Monkeys and hundreds of land crabs! The restaurant is delicious and the owners are lovely. The local beach was my favourite out of all of them around Puerto Viejo (and also super quiet) but I also loved the beach in front of Spicy Coconut (which I recommend for lunch - great poke bowls). Even the shower pressure is ridiculously great! Will recommend to friends and clients (I am a travel agent!)

The setting and layout of the property. The main reception area is also a popular Italian restaurant, Pulcinella. Beyond that, there are 4 individual and private bungalows nestled within the jungle foliage. A lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi are close by. Via a back gate, a pathway leads in about 5 minutes to the stunning beaches of Playa Chiquita. Our bungalow was very large had 3 large beds as well as a fully stocked kitchen, Aircon, and a tasteful shower room. Breakfast is served on your own terrace, with full table and chairs plus a hammock. Plenty of wildlife on site, we spotted a sloth, heard and saw many howler monkeys as well as agoutis, spiders and the residents cats. A peaceful, secluded stay. Very enjoyable.
