The resort is beautifully designed. The front desk, pool, the restaurants and the coffee bar are always well-staffed. The rooms are nice and roomy, the bed & pillows are comfy and everything was clean. The staff were the highlight of the trip.

This is quite a new hotel and the staff were very genuinely welcoming and keen to make our stay enjoyable. The front desk was happy to advise us where in town was best for lunch, reserved tables and tuktuks, arranged tours, etc. Our spa treatments were very good. The two main restaurants are both very good, and offer different cuisines.

Beautiful modern hotel in Puerto Princesa. The facilities are outstanding, the staff very sweet and helpful. We only had a day there in between flights but we would have definitely stayed more. The rooms are big and very clean.

We loved everything about our stay at Funny Lion. It’s a beautiful modern hotel. Both restaurants serve superb food. There is a large pool with plenty of sun beds. The standout is the staff - they are super friendly and helpful but also very personable.

I really enjoyed the space and the architecture of the resort. I also liked the buffet breakfast and staff were really helpful. I was able to purchase a few items from the boutique store for my travels and also got some rest because I was quite exhausted from doing the tours and island hopping.

What an amazing stay at the Funny Lion, Puerto Princesa ❤️ The staff were unbelievably, fabulous, caring, & attentive from arrival to departure they just couldn't do enough for us ❤️. Our room was very clean & spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed & pillows, breakfast & coffee were lovely, need I say more!. If required, food was served throughout the day from a good menu choice. Great value cocktail happy hour, fabulous, don't miss out🍹 If staying 1 / 2 / 3 or like us more nights, we would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel.
