The fine print
Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).

The breakfast which was included in the price was good. Room was comfortable and kitchen facilities were good. Was able to leave bags when we went to do the W trek.

Super relaxed guesthouse with a "coming home" feeling after trekking in Torres del Paine. Possibility to store suitcases, do laundry and cook your own food if necessary. The small garden invites you to relax. Very good location within walking distance of restaurants and shops as well as the bus station. And the two hosts were just amazing and extremely helpful and warm.

I cannot recommend Treehouse Patagonia enough. It's well located, within walking distance from everything, it's beautifully decorated, the rooms are comfortable and the staff is impeccable (thank you for everything Gerardo!). They have lockers at a very reasonable price if you want to go and do the W-Trek and leave your bags behind.
