This hotel resort in the middle of the jungle is simply unique. You will find here the true heart of Peru, with families working together on this resort, providing all the services that you need. The bungalows are very safe, clean, and quite extraordinary with an open view of the surrounding jungle. All activities are timed like magic, you don't have to worry about getting back in time for lunch/dinner, all is organized for you. We truly recommend la Hacienda Herrara Tambopata, for us it was the last few days of our honeymoon in Peru, but probably the most authentic and respectful of the Amazon forest. We recommend the arras parrot sighting, the sunset on Tambopata, and the Brazilian nut route which where amazing !

Great location on the river and not far from the airport. Visiting the farm on the property was very interesting. Food for our stay was outstanding, including accommodating vegetarian diets. Enjoyed the room and jungle experience. Tours were very memorable - we did 6 tours during our 3 night stay - highlight was Lake Sandoval. Our tour guide Samuel was amazing - highly recommend and prices were very reasonable.

Amazing grounds, especially the fact that you are relatively close to town and yet feel in the middle of the rain forest - so no need to spend time on travelling to remote lodges. Organized tours were on the expensive side but worth it, especially due to the rare quality of Edson the guide - both in spotting wild life and in knowing everything about the forst. Food was excellent - tasty and varied. A real treat. Staff is doing everything to make your stay enjoyable.

We absolutely LOVED our room and that everything was so open and our bed was looking out on the jungle! The food was amazing, we had different meals and variety every day and overall we just loved the place. We could truly rest there and unwind. They also have a very nice selection of activities and jungle experiences, it is expensive, but if you can afford it, it is truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Very interesting options were available to learn about the locality, its biodiversity, agriculture, wildlife and cuisine., and there was an excellent guide - Manuel. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
