Uniqueness of this place - bungalows are designed and furnished with style, it has lots of space and there is jungle all around. It was nice observing the nature and wildlife from the terrace

The food! Best dinner we had during our 3 weeks in Costa Rica. The lodges are spread out and you do not see the lodges of the other guests. This gives a great feeling of privacy.

We liked absolutely everything at the Danta Corcovado lodge, it was actually our best accommodation so far in Costa Rica. The service is great, the food is amazing at both breakfast and dinner, the room is something special , the territory of the lodge is quite large, has many trails around the lodge, the location is close to the beach. Breakfast had 5 or 6 different choices to choose from. The design is very modern, a lot of creativity. Large room. No need for AC, the room doesn't have windows but has mosqueto nets. There is a possibility to take tours from that place but we didn't so can't comment. We stayed here on the way back from the Corcovado overnight Serena tour. If I could rate it higher than 10 I would gladly do it! Next time we will plan to stay in this place for longer.

One of my all-time favorite places and I stayed in many hotels and lodges in more than 100 countries! This is for you if you love nature, nice food and rooms with privacy. You have a lot of the animals of the national park and have still a roof all you need. It is an unbelievable place to see amazing birds. Do not go if you need air conditioning and are afraid of animals. An amazing place to immerse with nature. We now have been 4 times and will definitely come again :-). Super well managed by the owner and the stuff is so nice and they all know what they do.

Our 2nd visit and we extended it further once we got there. The staff are brilliant (and helped me with improving my Spanish) and the place is unique. We like the Canta Rana bungalow best as it has a lagoon around it, but they are all privately located in the jungle. The dinner deal is great value and good food. There are trails to walk and animals and birds all around. One of our favourite places and we've travelled to over 60 countries. Thanks Merlin and team.

Loved it here, fantastic large room beautiful outside shower in the middle of the jungle. The food in the restaurant was 1st class 👍👍👍3 courses $22 and to top off our stay they made me a Costa Rican rice pudding oh my goodness it was so delicious. All the staff here are wonderful and we would like to say a great big thank you. Night tour well worth doing see lots , the grounds are super great walking lots of wildlife.

Quite a unique and different way to explore Corcovado away from the more travelled corners of the park. Highly recommend the day tour to Corcovado. Breakfast was fantastic! Handy to have a fridge in the room.

I have mixed feelings about this lodge, the estate is stunning with beautiful walking trails and canopy towers for watching wildlife. Staying in open bungalows definitely has its charms, but also comes with some disadvantages.
