Review for Alua Tenerife Hotel The Alua Tenerife Hotel has its strengths, but there are areas where it falls short. Starting with the positives, the rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, providing a pleasant space to relax. The hotel itself is visually appealing, with a nice overall design and well-maintained interiors. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of tasty options to suit different preferences. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by a number of issues. The staff, while professional, came across as unfriendly and not particularly welcoming, which dampened the overall atmosphere. The pool area was a significant disappointment. It seemed neglected, with noticeable holes in the pool structure and an overall lack of cleanliness. The water was quite cold, making it less enjoyable to swim, and there weren’t enough sunbeds to accommodate guests comfortably. Additionally, the animation around the pool was excessively loud and exclusively in French, which might be a drawback for international guests looking for a quieter or more inclusive environment. Overall, while the hotel has potential with its clean rooms and great breakfast, the unfriendly staff and poorly maintained pool area are significant drawbacks. If the management can address these issues, it could be a much more enjoyable stay. For now, I’d recommend it only for those prioritizing the rooms and breakfast over poolside relaxation.

Great hotel , well located with big room with super nice balcons . We really enjoy New year Eve party, it was great atmosfere, nice music and great shows. Appreciate animation program on daily basis, best regards for Paloma for her positive energy :) Puerto de la Cruz offers lots of great arraction, Old Town and Loro Park is must.

I liked the location it is close to the beach meanwhile it's nice and quiet at night time. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I'd book again and would recommend to anyone to use them. Easy to park around the hotel.

The hotel is situated very nicely about 1-2 km from the town center and very close to Playa Jardin and Loro Park. Unfortunately during our staying Playa Jardin was closed due to contamination. Other beaches in Puerto are far away and pretty small or unsettled (big waves), so lack of an access to Playa Jardin took away a lot of advantages of this hotel. The building is renovated but floors could be more nice and some equipment in the hotel are not in great state (for example door to the bathroom destroyed by the water) . There is a swimming pool in the hotel however open too short Only till 6 pm So if you want visit Tenerife it is hard to find a time for the pool. The breakfast was with a big variety however everyday the food was almost the same, so you could easily get bored The staff was pretty nice and helpful.
