AS the reception at the hotel was open only between 17.00 to 20.00 hours, we were informed by email about the procedure for self check-in. We arrived around 15.30 and entered the code on the key safe at the front door. Code was accepted and when we looked inside instead of finding key cards there was bugger all. So we had to sit in our car in the rain for 90 minutes waiting for the reception to open. The elderly person at reception(she was working in the kitchen) could not speak one word of English. It was not a problem for me as I have a school boy knowledge of the language, but to a non German speaker it may be. Room was adequate and the bathroom modern. On the other hand the bed was great with memory foam mattresses which allowed to have a good knight sleep, at least for me. Breakfast was good.
