We had a really enjoyable stay at Vrisch Gewagt. The cottages are beautiful, really comfortable and have everything you could need. The cottage was clean and the beds and towels really comfortable. The units are well spaced apart and we appreciated being able to travel with our pets. Free use of firewood from the farm, a pool and nice walks made the stay even better. The farm produce we bought and were gifted were great touches.

We absolutely loved the tranquility of this space, surrounded by the natural beauty of the manor home and all it had to offer our family. Chantelle was very welcoming and helpful.

If you are looking for a very peaceful beautiful place where you can get away from electronics to a degree this is the perfect place between ‘somewhere’ and ‘nowhere’. An extra day or two would have been awesome.

Chantelle is the best Host I've ever met. There is nothing that they did not think of and the silence, the beautiful scenery, walks and amazing five star accommodation. we love every minute of the weekend

I love this place! It's quiet, the staff are amazing who have everything prepped and organized for your arrival. Priscila comes in the morning to clean and preps your braai and fireplace with wood which you can light at anytime to keep the unit warm and cozy in the winter months. Pre-ordering the lamb is a must and will be waiting in your fridge with a bottle of wine, a jar of olives and a bottle of olive oil all locally sourced on the farm!!!

The views were just out of this world! Cottage was super cosy. The nature walks were so beautiful and relaxing.
