Excellent stay we was on our way to the Lake District and stayed overnight was great for a over night stay thank you

“Good value for money”

Good size room, comfy big bed, pub next door serving decent food, great prices. Breakfast was good. No issues with WiFi - actually, had to sign in every time after you’d put the phone down but that’s a minor inconvenience. Would stay again. Shower pressure very weak,

“Nice little cosy stay”

Hotel was nice and clean and the staff where friendly Unfortunately the staff in the bar at breakfast let it down. They where rude and rushed us and the food was cold or microwaved

“Great one night stay, would happily return and would recommend!”

Easy check in, very pleasant staff, quiet room at the back as requested. Evening meal very good, the included continental breakfast was all we needed, so didn’t bother with a cooked breakfast, but for those that were having it, it looked fine.

“Convenient, decent value food but room for improvement”
01 Apr 2025
We thought that the food was decent value. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The staff were polite, friendly and efficient. The taxi to Preston North end was £9 for a 5 mile journey,(which we considered decent value)just leave two hours before kick off if you want dropping off outside the stadium.

“A nice hotel where I enjoyed my stay”
31 Mar 2025
The price was a little steep but I didn’t book too far in advance either and the continental and cooked breakfast was also included so that probably also pushed the price up slightly. Overall a good place to stay, the bathroom had a bath which was nice but the taps had to be explained to me by the receptionist who was helpful but it wasn’t a good look to need to explain how the taps work. The room size was good and the staff pleasant and friendly. There was no lift to reach the upper floor so I had to carry my heavy luggage up the stairs although the receptionist did help with that also. Kitchen staff were also pleasant and friendly. Location was somewhat isolated and I did have some issues with food delivery but as we were next to the main road there were buses into the town centre. Also, be careful when crossing the road to get to the petrol station to get supplies, you’ll be waiting a while if you choose a bad moment! Overall, a nice hotel though
