Room with river view. Bed was comfortable and bedding seemed a very good quality. Liked the artwork in room. Reception staff were helpful. Very handy for the motorway.

Very good. Stopover on route to the North. Very well located and convenient to M6, easy to find. Had to pay for parking but car park secured with barriers which gave a peace of mind as had my bike in the car. Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel room was what you’d expect for the price but clean and comfortable.

The hotel was in an ideal location for our overnight stay. We had our evening meal there which was freshly cooked, large portions and overall a delicious meal. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a good price for what you get - don't expect 'The Grand' if you are not paying those prices!

Good location just off the M6. Convenient for an overnight stop on a journey to the Lake District. Generally comfortable and the staff are very friendly.

Decor feels tired and in need of investment. Room a good size but needs decorating etc - cracked mirror in the bathroom - shower door rusting. Very poor meal - chicken tikka at £20 with 5 pieces of dried out chicken (i suspect microwaved) simply dropped into sauce. Breakfast was better

Avarage condition could do with a deep clean mould in bath around taps, nothing a scrub wouldn’t remove
