On the banks of the River Ribble, The Macdonald Tickled Trout offers waterside views, free parking and a fine restaurant. Close to the M6, the hotel is 44 miles from the Lake District and just a 20-minute drive away from Preston, Blackpool and Liverpool. Ideally located if visiting loved ones at the University of Lancashire, University of Lancaster and University of Cumbria.

Location of hotel was ideal for our one night stop en route to meet friends. Room was a generous size, clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and polite.
