Gary and Nok are excellent hosts. Rooms are clean and comfy. The food is exceptional, both western and Thai treats available. Great atmosphere plenty of banter. Super pool area. Just a nice place to be.

Ryan's Resort is run by British ex-pat Gary. He is ebullient, cheerful and helpful. He is also a remarkably good chef. If you want great food, great company and a great bar at a modest cost then this is the place. We ate what is probably the best pizza I have ever had outside of Italy - and I do consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of the pizza. The resort covers all the basics such as swimming pool, bar and restaurant. The rooms are well sized and clean. When we return to Thailand, we will make time to stay here longer. Also, the bar has parrots and two German Shepherd dogs.
