Quinta Beira-Mar is located very close to the ocean. The roosters were crowing, although they were waking me up, but for me it was a nice country accent. Close (by car) to Cabo da Roca and the beautifully situated Praia da Ursa beach. In the city of Sintra, very well organized public transport to the most important tourist attractions - a loop connecting the palaces.

Susanna, the host is very friendly and helpful. She makes you feel at home as soon aa you arrive. The location is fabulous, close to a lovely beach and only 10 min walk to the next beach and cafes, yet its in a quiet area. The room had a wonderful view of the sea and sunset and was very comfortable. Breakfast was great with fresh eggs.

Lovely host, nice breakfast, animals to look at (chickens, a horse, a dog, cats, frogs in the pond). Only a couple of minutes to walk to the beach. Quiet and peaceful.
