Hostel Overview

Charles Bridge Economic Hostel is a small boutique guesthouse located in the very heart of historic centre of Prague, right at the Charles Bridge. All important sights are in a walking distance from the property. The building comes from the 14th century and belongs to protected cultural heritage.
Rooms and dorms are fully furnished and have been recently remodeled. Kitchen is located on all floors and inside all private rooms. Fridge, satellite TV with free movies to watch and DVD are also available. Bed sheets, linen, towels and toiletries are provided free of charge.
Tourist Information Centre in the lobby serves as a reception for guest. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all areas, while Internet café with free access for guests is located downstairs. Сoffee for guests is provided for free all day long and unlimited.
Luggage storage is available for free. Laundry facility and dryer is available for extra fee. Reception safe can be used for free for small valuables. Shuttle bus service and airport transfers can be arranged here, too. The property offers discounts on several 'things to do' in Prague. Print, scan and copy facilities are also available.

The location is excellent! Steps outside of the hostel is the Charles Bridge you can walk to the tour spot by walking. I booked the female dormitory which is very good for having the beds individually not the bucks bed. It is very good to have a bathroom inside the room.

Staff were amazing..Loved the ambience and the vibe of the hostel. You can have best cappuccino at their cafeteria that too for free. There’s machine inside the hostel where you can take 30 mins, 90 mins, 24 hours, 72 hours day pass…Which I felt amazing

The place is wonderful. Everything was clean and organised. It is located to the main area next to the Old Town and Lesser town. Also, it was great to have a toilet inside our female shared room. It feels safe and comfortable.

The hotel is in a very good location, practically in the city center. At first, I had difficulty finding the hotel – I found the area but couldn’t figure out which building the hotel was in. Eventually, after entering several buildings, I found it. 😄 The room was an 8-bed dorm. It was a good size with enough space for everyone. The beds were comfortable and clean. There were also lockers/boxes to store personal belongings. The room was slightly dirty, but that’s probably because there were eight people staying in it. However, the common areas – kitchen and bathroom – were very clean. The temperature in the room was excellent, despite the very cold weather outside. The staff was very kind and friendly. From the start, they greeted us warmly and explained everything in detail. After checkout, they even told me I could store my luggage for free until my flight. In short, it’s a very good hotel in an excellent location, reasonably priced, with a great staff.

I usually don’t bother writing reviews but I just have to say something about Charles bridge hostel in Prague because it was honestly so good. I stayed there with my grandparents and we had such a great time. The staff were super nice and welcoming. When we checked in there was an argentinian guy and a turkish guy at the reception and they were so chill and friendly it made us feel really comfortable right away. The hostel is spotlessly clean and the facilities are excellent. There’s always hot water for showers and they even offer free hot chocolate, tea (with a wide selection), and coffee at the reception, which was so nice. The heated floors were a lovely surprise, especially in winter and the location couldn’t be better it’s right next to Charles Bridge. Our room was super warm and cozy and there’s a kitchen where you can find everything you need to cook. If you need anything the reception is always there to help. Everything about this place was awesome, and I couldn’t be happier with my stay. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone!

Great place in the middle of Prague. When I came back to Prague again I will stay there. Really helpful staff. You can left you luggage after checkout (really great idea)
