Where to start? The location is fantastic, stunning scenery and surroundings. The accommodation (Gazza) was everything we needed, spotlessly clean, comfortable, homely, shower pressure to die for! The wines on arrival were delicious, coffee and basic supplies were a great welcome. We loved the vineyard cats and watching them play around. Theres a pool which sits in the most scenic setting, surrounded by fields and vines. The smell of the plants in the gardens and surrounding vineyard were intoxicating at night. A great backdrop for a dinner and wine on the terrace. Then there's Marta the owner, she's worth her weight in gold and we will return for sure because of her, she's kind (beyond expectation), funny, attentive and very welcoming, the perfect host. We were involved in an accident on our trip but she stepped in to help and made everything so easy when it would have otherwise been a nightmare. She looked after us beyond what was required, and did so without hesitation or expectation. Without writing a novel (and even then) it's quite hard to put into words how much we appreciated her help and caring way. We absolutely recommend a stay at the Fattoria Santa Vittoria, its the perfect getaway for couples, families or individuals seeking a special place for rest or as a base to jump around Tuscany from (as we did). We cant wait to return.
