The prices as very reasonable for the time of year. When we arrived the location was incredible! Oceanview room! It was perfect to watch the sunset over the water. Basic room but the view made up for it. For us it's about the experience. We are definitely coming back!

The room had a great view of the strait, and a small balcony which was large enough to seat two. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and there was plenty of food. The hotel was clean and well run and the bed was comfy. Watching the moon over the water and hearing the sound of a breaching whale was magical. The hotel furniture could use a refresh but that would no doubt put the prices up. This is a good value place for a stay in Powell River, and in a lovely setting right on the water, well away from the commercial and industrial district.

Comfortable and quiet. Great view. Food was excellent. Watched a family of otters while having my morning coffee on the balcony.
