Nice and clean, beds were very comfortable. Staff were lovely to interact with. About a 15 minute was from the beach there is a lot of stairs to walk 😅

Spacious rooms and good value for money. The pool is dated but really nice. We had a good stay in summer. The location is a bit up the hill but the Sita bus stop Is close buy just like local eateries with a fraction of the price from the main area in Positano. Overall good stay

We booked our trip late and this was one of the only places left. We read all the bad reviews and decided to try it anyway but to expect the worst, im very glad we did and I feel this place has been given a bad wrap. Our room was big, it was actually more like a small bedroom and a living room which had a beautiful view out looking down on the town. We loved waking up to that view every day. The hotel is big (and yes the layout is confusing but its litterally built into the side of a steep mountain, so they have done what they can with the space they have) The breakfast we thought was great. The food was fresh, the selection was smaller, but everything was very nice. The pastries were fresh and tasty, they even had fresh juiced mixed juices which we loved and is not something you commonly see in a hotel buffet. The people running the breakfast each day were friendly and helpful. The view from the breakfast balcony was amazing. We loved it every morning. The make espresso coffee for you out the back rather than using one of those terrible automatic machines. The walk into town is an epic battle with stairs but you can also get the bus. Its fine if you are relatively fit. There is an outdoor area with chairs which has a stunning view. Did I mention that the bus stop is RIGHT NEXT TO THE HOTEL? If you are catching the bus into Positano from Sorrento this is amazing. Positano is very hard to navigate with luggage, but this hotel is very easy to find, right next to the bus stop. The bad reviews this place has recieved is not warranted in our opinion, we had a great time here. I would come back and book the same room again.

The staff was impeccable! Mario greeted us and was very accommodating, he helped us with directions, how to get around, called for luggage porter and even checked on tickets for the Blue Grotto. The breakfast buffet was a huge spread, so we had dinner at the hotel both nights with live music! Highly recommend the filet and eggplant parm fabulous! The wait staff is fantastic, from David, Fredrica, Jonathan and our Sommelier. We loved having wine on the outdoor restaurant patio and balcony of our room, the view was incredible and gorgeous at night with twinkling lights. Mario upgraded our room because not many people this time of year, the room and the view was phenomenal, it was everything you imagine Amalfi coast to be!
