Desk clerk who checked us in was quirky and very likeable and drew us a nice map of town about where to go and see. He made check in fun. Room very clean

Quiet. Block out blinds. King bed in a separate bedroom and one of the sofas made up into a king bed for our arrival. The hotel breakfast was a stand out. Expected fare plus savoury items such as bruschetta topping and smoked salmon. Good pastries, fruit salad and porridge. Parking at the rear of the hotel.

This hotel is really a very cool inn. It was quiet, walking distance to the old port area, eclectic in style. The bed was very comfortable, the shower large, room size big. There was an elevator if you needed it, as well.

Although we arrived late we were warmly welcomed and introduced to the amenities of the hotel. The hotel is unique in its style and its special furniture; we liked the common areas with comfortable sofas and armchairs, the big kitchen where a varied breakfast was served and where the guests get little snacks, water, tea and coffee throughout the whole day. There is a parking lot behind the building; the city centre is within walking distance!

The staff was excellent and were available to answer my questions. They were able to provide information about Portsmouth and where to eat. Everything was in walking distance. The Hotel itself was charming and clean. Lastly the breakfast was excellent. Thank you!
