The friendly informative staff, the view! Big TV which we didn't use, big shower, nice biscuits, lovely breakfast! Car park which locks at night, night porter will let you in/out Photos are views from room 23

Room wonderful bathroom wonderful. Did not have breakfast as has to leave early to get ferry. Maybe an optional take away breakfast box would have been nice. They let us take a few things for the car. Very helpful very nice.

Firstly there was lots of room in the car park, we were given access to our room early and the room was bigger, better appointed and had a good view over the harbour. The staff were all professional and relaxed, more mature rather than the usual poorly trained disinterested part time student. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was good.

Great location for Gunwharf Quay and the Historic area. Secure parking and friendly helpful staff make this a very good place to stay.

Historic named inn type hotel on the famous dockyard in Portsmouth- the Hard. I am a Patrick( Master and Commander) O'Brien fan so its agreat place to be. Great views over the dockyard, The Conqueror etc. Nice friendly and comfortable place.

The breakfast is excellent! Location is great, the parking means you can walk anywhere, you can hear the train all night and revellers walking past but that’s the price you pay for the great location!
