Hotel Overview

The Clarence Boutique Rooms offers six boutique rooms located just a short walk from Portsmouth's seafront esplanade.
This Edwardian residence has been stylishly converted to offer well-designed and individually styled rooms with a luxury bathroom. Free WiFi is also available.
The Clarence Boutique Rooms is just a few hundred yards from the seafront and close to all of Portsmouth's major attractions, including the waterfront development of Gunwharf Quays, Spinnaker Tower and the world-famous Historic Dockyard. Both of Portsmouth's main train stations are just a 5-minute taxi journey away, and the nearest airport is a short car journey of 25 minutes (Southampton).
The Clarence offers 2 bar/restaurants just minutes away - The Garden Restaurant and The Florence Arms Gastro Pub & Restaurant for all day dining.

The Clarence is an annex property - please arrive at the main reception 3 minutes walk away, Florence Road.
Breakfast can be taken at The Garden Restaurant a 2 minute walk away - it is not served at the property. The property offers a gastro restaurant The Florence Arms just 3 minutes walk from the property for lunch and dinner.
The property offers either free street parking or paid premium private parking (limited) - please pre book with the property after reservation.
When booking 3 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply.
Please note that all rooms are individually decorated. If you wish to request a particular style of room, please contact the property after booking.
Flexible cancellation terms are not applicable to any bookings of 3 or more rooms.
There is an extra fee of GBP 15 per dog, paid in advance. Please inform the property before arrival if you wish to travel with pets.

A Southsea hidden gem. Friendly welcome by staff. Beautiful boutique en suite room with a very comfy bed. Delicious fresh breakfast. Very clean and ideal location for exploring & walking.

The beautiful decor and the quirkiness of the roll top bath in the bedroom Breakfast was truly amazing. My partner is vegan and there was a whole page of delious delights for him to try. Very impressed with everything
