Hotel Overview

Featuring panoramic views over Port Phillip Bay, Mercure Portsea & Portsea Golf Club is a fully integrated development incorporating Portsea Golf Club. Reception is available between 8am-6pm.
Mercure Portsea is 25 minutes’ drive from St. Andrews Beach. It is 5 minutes’ drive from the Searoad Ferry Terminal.
All food and beverage onsite is provided by the Portse Golf Club. Operating hours vary, Spike Restaurant in the golf club serves modern cuisine using fresh local produce. It is open daily for coffee and snacks from 7am, with the kitchen operating 7 days a week for Breakfast and Lunch only for members and in house guests. Spike Bar overlooks the golf course and offers local and imported beer and wine.
All air-conditioned rooms feature a desk, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer.

The view from our room was exceptional. The staff were very helpful in sorting out some minor glitches in the room bookings. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast options were good, and our choices were excellent. Great for a one night stay close to the venues in Portsea.

Breakfast was okay not many choices when you have a dietary need. Less choice of halal. Also pedicure was paid but they left the little bowls in the room for us to do ourselves. Found that very expensive. When you have to do it ourselves just warm water and towel was left in the room

Location was great as it was Christmas time and this is out of the main drag. Close to portsea main street, beach and London bridge. Food was good, staff were very friendly. Room was great, fridge in room is only a condenser fridge to keep cool not cold. Shower was great, beds were comfy. Good parking spaces.

The hotel is only a few minutes drive to Portsea’s back and front beaches. All other beaches, such as Sorrento, Blairgowrie, and Rye, are just a short drive away, and you'll also find yourself conveniently close to some lovely wineries on the peninsula. Breakfast in the hotel was really good value for money. Cheaper than eating out at local cafes in surrounding areas with a spacious and stunning balcony view of the golf course, nature, and the sea horizon. I highly recommend visiting this balcony, even if just for a coffee, to enjoy the wonderful view.
