Fantastic, spacious apartment in a super part of the city. It is in the Cedofeita area which is just a short walk from the main tourist attractions but just far enough to be quieter, no noise into the night as a lovely residential area. The apartment is based over two floors, the 3rd floor in the building where there are three large double bedrooms, huge lounge, large well stocked kitchen and separate dining and drawing rooms. Up a further flight of steps to the top floor master suite which again is massive and has its own separate bathroom. If you are travelling with a teenager or a friend who likes a bit of private space this will be a good room for them if they are okay walking up a flight of stairs to bed. All the rooms are spacious and light, there are lovely large windows in all communal rooms which open to allow fresh air and the sounds of the life passing on the street below. There is a lift which can be taken from the ground to right next to the apartment door. Kitchen and bathrooms are spacious and light, eel equipped. The apartment made us feel like we were living in an exclusive, luxury place. Close to the apartment you have a well stocked pingo supermarket 100meters away, a number of bakeries and cafe’s, a couple of butcher shops and a couple of the small tobacconist / news stand shops. We used the pingo most days as it was a cheap place to stock up on bottled water, juices and lovely bread and pastries. The apartment is at the quiet end of Rua de Cedofeita, turn right out of the front door and the road soon turns (200 meters) to a pedestrianised street filled with shops and eateries, and continue a few hundred meters and you’re in one of the main squares close to cathedrals, towers, the famous book shop and the more tourist area. The apartment, the location, the speed of response and communication with the property management team were all first class and we would book again in a heartbeat.
