Hostel Overview

Located within a completely restored 19th-century building, So Cool Hostel Porto offers modern, private and shared accommodation in one of the most central avenues of Porto, Avenida da Boavista. Free WiFi access is included.
Featuring high ceilings with stucco works, rooms are bright and airy. They all include lockers, individual reading lights and have key card access. Bathroom facilities are shared.
Guests can use the common kitchen to prepare their meals and enjoy them in the sunny dining area or outdoors, in the furnished garden area, with a glass of wine from the cellar. Thematic Portuguese dinners are organised by the staff.

The location of the hostel is ideal. 5 mins from Carmichael Metro station and 15 minute walk from the City Centre. The staff are very helpful and welcoming Breakfast was a nice touch and well organised. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean.. Alalso a very good size. I met some lovely people

The hostel hosts and staff were really helpful, patient and kind. They had a pin board of opportunities, were there on call all day, breakfast was great and they helped me print my boarding pass past their working hours because somethinng went wrong with my airline, they were more than happy to help!

A great place to stay in an ideal location. The staff were all so nice and helpful. Great facilities, everything we needed for our short stay in Porto.

Pretty private shared bathroom for private rooms. Fresh, but very unfulfilling breakfast. Good kitchen facilities and great stuff! Overall clean and very elegant hostel.

The property is very central and very comfortable - it was probably one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in for a while. The staff are excellent and also the breakfast was great!
