Close to the historic center Close to the Sao Bento train station - although at the time of our visit, there were a lot of road works- so journey was slightly longer. Have to hike up 2 small hills to get to accomodation Lots of restaurants around Friendly host Strong WiFi Lifts in the apartment for luggage

Fantastic location right in the city centre. Fairly quiet Street for sleeping at night. Fans in the rooms kept us cool everything we needed in the kitchen for light meals. Wonderful character and decor. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.
