Location of the hotel is amazing with a view over the river from the room, breakfast table and evening drinks at the rooftop. It is a walking distance from the city centre. We loved complimentary bicycles - cycled to the ocean to watch the sunset and dolphins most evenings. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is incredible - lots of choices and many options for health-conscious travellers. We would definitely come back!

We really liked the location, the breakfast buffet and the roof top bar has a great menu and nice vibe. We also liked the small gym and the massage I got at the SPA. We thought the noise isolation was not great, we had a street facing room and the tram and busy street noise were unpleasant. If we go back we will not ask for a river view room.

We had pleasant stay, location of hotel was perfect for us, couple of minutes to walk to city centre. Hotel has beautiful view from terrace bar to Vila Nova de Gaia. Breakfast was good, with many options to choose.

Everything. Amazing beautiful building, clean, minimalist, kind staff. Bed was amazingly comfy together with the pillows. Location great downtown is 10-15 mins along the river.

Large, comfortable room, 6 foot bed, and our room had a south facing balcony. The breakfast was excellent. It's by the river about a 15-minute walk to the centre of the city. Lovely rooftop terrace bar.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The property itself is beautiful, offering a breathtaking view of the river that added to the charm of the stay. The highlight for me was the spa – it truly felt like a hidden gem, almost as if you were in a tranquil cave, adding an extra layer of relaxation to our visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The receptionist went above and beyond, providing us with detailed directions to local attractions that were spot-on and made our trip even better. To top it all off, the most heartwarming surprise was when they celebrated my birthday with a special treat. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the stay even more memorable. I would definitely visit this hotel again and highly recommend it to others. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish!
