Awesome garden, spacious apartment. Good pressure in shower. Cool little kitchenette. All windows have blinds and doors to keep out the light.

The location is excellent; it's only a short walk from marketplaces and Casa da Música. It's a nicely restored lovely house with an appealing yard. We had a really pleasant accommodation with a king-size bed, bathroom, and a living area with some cuisine equipments. Everything was orderly and spotless. The check-in was simple, and communicating with the hostess was simple and quick. I would highly recommend staying at the Koolhouse.

My experience at Koolhouse Porto was extraordinary! The location is great, just a walking distance from casa da música, rotunda da Boavista e do mercado do bom sucesso. It's a beautifully renovated charming house, with a lovely garden. We got a very comfortable room with king size bed, 2 bathrooms and a living room with some catering facilities. It also had exterior space with table and chairs and beautiful views for the garden. All was clean and tidy. The communication with the hostess was professional and the check in was easy. I strongly recommend staying at the Koolhouse!

Fine for a short stay. We had a couple of minor issues & the owner was very responsive & sorted them very quickly. 10-min walk to the metro & easy to reach the centre of Porto. Some good restaurants close by.

The room is very spacious with lots of facilities. We stayed here for 4 nights and we really enjoyed it. The room is very clean, they have cleaners to come everyday to make sure our environment is always clean. For our room we have access to a lovely garden. The location is at a pretty nice neighborhood, you can get access to some popular bus routes pretty easily. However it's hard to get a hold of the frequencies of buses in Porto, so probably subway is still a better and more reliable public transportation. You need around 10 minutes to walk to the nearest subway station.

Very useful location near the Casa de Musica. A little far from the main tourist sites, but I liked the areas, and the metro was near. My small double was very comfortable, with plenty of daylight in the room and bathroom. There was no reception but the instructions to gain access were very clear. A good, very pleasant overnight recommendation. There was no breakfast, but the Boemia Cafe was worth stopping by for a coffee and croissant.

Location is great. Room is very spacious, light and airy. Liked the high ceilings and historical features. Nice to be able to walk out onto an area with a a table and chairs that over looked the garden.
