About half way between Campanha and Sao Bento railway stations, the location was perfect for me. Room 6 tidy and cleaned each day I stayed. Decent bathroom and decent sized bed area. Check in was easy as I had good communication with the host.

Very welcoming host. Very spacious room. We had fresh towels every day and water. There's a shared kitchen with kettle, tea and mugs. Great garden and only a 3 minute walk to a cafe with good coffee. Also close to supermarkets ans bakery. City centre within a 20- minute walk.

It was very commendable that we were allowed to check in earlier than the usual check in time. We were provided with a spacious and clean room and the owner and staff were very helpful with our needs. It's a plus as well that coffee, tea and chocolate drinks were free. The breakfast option at €4 was a steal. There's a garden at the back that very much fit to our tired body which simply want a refreshing place to rest. Kudos!

We had a great stay, our room was very clean and well equiped. The location was very convenient to get to the city center, some minutes walking only. There were different restaurants, cafes, fruit shops, banks very close. Everything you need was very closed and to be reached only by walking. The staff was also very nice and friendly, always ready to help with anything that was required.

Very clean, daily housekeeping, quiet and friendly. Great breakfast for only €4. Location excellent to explore Porto. 3 mins walk to metro and buses. 15 mins walk to city centre.

This is an exceptional place and the best stay we have had on our fairly extensive tour. An unassuming wooden door from the street opens into a treasure of a period-style guest house where the motto "my house is your house" (on the stairwell in several languages) comes true. The welcome we got on arrival from Pedro, Monica, Salia and Tai was genuine and warm, and their generosity of spirit continued for the duration. A glass of port was gratuit. Breakfast is served by the equally welcoming and attentive Paulo who works the night shift and greets guests on awakening. The breakfasts are enormous and amazingly cheap; lovely to eat in the open-air back courtyard. If this is your traditional Portuguese guest house, then we love it and heartily recommend it. A comfortable walk from the centre of the old town, easy to reach from the airport (take the Metro from the airport to the Campo 24 de Agosto stop just past Trindade) and an easy walk from the main Campanhã train station.
